Better than an airstone
This woks very well, reduces noise and can be bent to suit the location. A note is included on the packaging about cleaning it should it eventually clog so no more frequent replacement of air stones. Tended to float upwards a little but stopped that with the same metal strip as used for plant weights. Will try submerging in the gravel at next maintenance and see if it performs as well there.

Seems to have done the job.
Clear patches, easy to apply. Repaired a tear in a lightweight, day fishing shelter. Not yet tested in the field under heavy rain or strong sunlight so cannot comment on effectiveness or longevity. Virtually invisible repair and far cheaper than buying a new shelter so worth a punt.
