Never, unless you need it!!!

I spent years, no decades, picking and plucking my fingers and palms, usually with my knife, painfully in pursuit of those dang slivers that always seemed to find their way into my flesh while outdoors, or in the garage. When you are used to doing things one particular way, you frequently become the example of stubbornness; until one day, a friend offers you an alternative. Two days later, I bought one of these; three weeks later, I bought two more on this site. They may appear expensive, and a bit flimsy; but their success of function, and their genuine durability are testament to their necessity with any variety of outdoorsman, or craftsman. This item, which is ten times better than the SAK version, along with your favorite pocket knife, will defeat any "Sliver Savage" that may come your way. I wish I had one of these when I lived in the jungles of Panama thirty years ago; anyone who's been there, will know exactly what I mean..........

Almost Perfect!!!
Same design as the original, well constructed, durable materials; but a different attaching configuration as the original. It is difficult to attach to a shoulder strap that isn't MOLLE compatible. The original could easily be attached to ANY shoulder strap; which is where a strobe should be for emergency or contingency use.
