Very Disappointed - Ruined by Uncontrollable Flashing LEDs
Very disappointed to be honest - let down by the following:
1) The main interior LED illumination is fine and fitting for the design, a warm light that stays on. However it is totally ruined by the outer LEDs along the roof ledge. These are bright white and wait for it, start uncontrollably flashing and flickering through several sequences. Static, flashing, flickering. This is really distracting if you have it in the front room and is annoying.
This was totally unnecessary in my opinion and ruined the whole decoration.
We had to cut out some green card and stick it over all the outer 'icicles' along the roof to try and blot out the flashing LEDs. If these had been static lights then it would be fine, but as they are not controllable, it has put us right off it.
2) The quality of the 2 figures is poor - the faces look unrealistic and very plasticised with poor quality features, so cheapens the whole thing really.
So although you can hook it up to a mains DC adapter, it is not overall very good and will no doubt have to be painted over to block out the flashing LEDs.

Essential to Prolong the Life of your Dyson Big Ball Vacuum
1 of 1 found this helpful These are used in the Dyson 'Big Ball' (non-Cinetic) models and act as a pre-motor filter. Dyson recommend washing these once a month. We have one in the vacuum and one ready to go, so we are never left waiting for it to dry out (essential).
We prefer the non Cinetic models to be honest. The Cinetic models don't have this filter and rely on the rubber teats on the end of the cyclones to prevent the dust from entering the motor. However, there have been many, many cases of these in the repair shops after 6 months requiring the static motor filters (non-consumer fit) to be replaced. Dyson now put a warning on these not to pick up fine dust like plaster, or building rubble - or it will blow the motor.
Getting the non-Cinetic models means you have one of these conical filters that intercept the fine dust before it gets to the motor filters contained in the internal sections of the ball sides. This will provide another level of filtration and should prolong the life of your Dyson.
As most people probably don't bother washing these as often as they should, they don't seem as readily available on the market.
I highly recommend you wash it out every month as a minimum. Having a spare guarantees your Dyson will be ready to use when you are washing the other one.

VeryPleased So Far
These replaced a different LED bulb thatI had started flashing. When I checked a few LED chips were out. So tried these and so far am impressed. They look well built and solid. The light is a nice crisp white that matched my Xenons. I just hope they last a bit longer than the others.
