Sure Cure For My Insomnia
My art instructor strongly recommended that I read this. So...I purchased it and read it in small amounts. While it has a lot of interesting technical information on painting, I found the book hard to read and sleep inducing. There are sections that are highlighter worthy, but they seem to be few and far between. This is not the sort of book I would read voluntarily nor would I recommend it,

An Old Favorite Remade
Having recently rediscovered Blackwing pencils, I ordered these on the spur of the moment. I was pleasantly surprised. These pencils write and draw beautifully, have a very nice feel to them and the adjustable, replaceable eraser is the best! While they are on the expensive side, they are a treat to use and worth the cost. I have become a Blackwing fan all over again.

Definitely a good value
I have always liked Pentel products, especially the RSVP & WOW! pens. They generally write immediately with little to no skipping or glopping & last for ages. I've used Rolling Writers since they first came out & find them to be a good value. They generally write smoothly & evenly with no skipping & also seem to last forever. Pentel is my favorite pen manufacturer, & the only one I buy.
