It works, however ...
Even though it's an extended 9 cell battery, the one I received only gives me about an hour and a half of power before it needs recharging. Other nine cell batteries I've purchased gave 4 to 5 hours when new and then three hours for many, many months of use before getting to the point after a couple years of about an hour or so of charge. Too much trouble for me to hassle with returning at the price I bought it for. It will power your computer if you're looking for a cheap replacement, and it fits just right and locks into place, but based on my experience, I'd be hesitant about expecting extended usage times with this nine cell version. Maybe you'll have better luck.
