Worked right out of the box
Worked plug and play as expected. Got my home theater back up and running in 5 minutes. Also, was interesting that this newer model than my previous is about half the size. Hoping that means they run cooler. I think the demise of my previous Rx box may have been excessive heat over time, but that is complete speculation.

Solved the problem
This thermopile works great! The fireplace teardown in order to remove the old one and install this new one wasn't exactly trivial, but it was all worthwhile to see the fireplace working reliably and glowing again, warming up our family room.
