Sturdy and well-built
This is a really well-built bag, heavyweight and sturdy, per Chrome's usual brief. The laptop compartment is big enough for a 15" laptop, probably with a case on it. With the tarp liner and overlapping flap, it should be completely weatherproof. Highly recommended.

This is a perfect EDC bag
I bought one of these for myself and two for my teen sons. I had spent a month looking for the right bag, and had sent back or resold 3 (yes, I'm that persnickety). They were so cool I bought two more for two daughters, then two more for another son and a friend's daughter. My girls loved them as much as the boys. They're the perfect size, have great organizer pockets in the front, they're very sturdy, and they're not overly complicated or over-engineered. The two clasps in front are designed to allow quick entry and closure while wearing the bag (gas mask access!). I haven't decided if I'll cut the waist strap off - it serves no purpose so far, but I'll wait a while longer to see. Thinking of cutting it off and sewing a few inches of it to the top for a quick-grab handle, but it's not really necessary. None of the ones I got have a separator in the main compartment, so I'm not sure if that's common. We got three with the rook stamp and 4 with SA - the rooks were popular with the boys. I sewed a patch to the cover of mine to distinguish it from everybody else's. For the money, I can't believe how useful and cool these things are. Absolutely recommend!
