Outstanding pocket flashlight!
Streamlight got this product completely right for the Surefire owner who likes a more reasonably priced product with cheap, readily available AA batteries. One tap generates a strong 150 lumen beam with around a 4 hour life. Two quick taps generate a bright strobe. Both modes are excellent for signalling and defensive use. Three quick taps gives a 10 lumen, 30 hour mode which works well for night time pathfinding without complete loss of night vision. The lens and tailcap are well shrouded and the Cordura case works well on a belt or pack. Search around for outstanding value. The small size and low cost of the Protac taken together with battery cost and availability make this a first rate product. This is great for emergency use also camping, hunting, fishing and boating due to being waterproof to 1M.
