Seems genuine and solved our problem.

When the water dispenser and icemaker stopped working on our fridge we thought about just getting a new fridge, but this inexpensive valve got them working again. It fit perfectly so there were no issues with hoses leaking or screws not lining up. I'm very pleased with the quality. It looked and felt like the original when I compared them side by side.
