It is what it is

Barely works. The correct dial position to get it to work is within 1/4” of the “off” position. There its around 38 degrees. It does work, (turns off and on) but acts like a bump to the refrigerator might just keep it running. If the dial position is moved even the slightest little bit toward the “1”, the temperature in the refrigerator goes down to 26 degrees and hard freezes everything.
