Incredibly scary ... highly recommended
This book is the first in the Pendergast series. David Colacci, the reader, does an excellent job of depicting the characters, giving them depth and believability. It has been said that The Cabinet of Curiousities, also by Preston and Childs, is the scariest thriller ever written. I am only into the 5th disc this book and I think this story rivals the other in bone-chilling suspense and outright terror. And I am totally in love with Agent Pendergast. Always have been, as I have several of the audio books and hardcovers. I am a collector of this series, in whatever format I can find it. Buy the book. You won't be disappointed.
