It works, but it is not a type D.
1 of 1 found this helpful Although this product works, I think it should not be classified as Type VII/ D. Why? Because the Type D filters are supposed to have a center piece in the middle of the filter for the chlorine tablets to stay inside there. This filter does not have that.
