Expensive, but worth every penny
I installed this whole group set onto my Motobecane Boris X7 with a BBSHD 52V motor. I had some issues with the original derailleur bending and eventually had it get wrapped up in the cassette on a double-shift. Not cool.
Not only does the cassette bring strength, but the whole drive line is strong. Shifting into faster or slower gears while under pedal assist is seamless. Every gear is narrow-wide, and the cassette shifts through the gears without slippage or noise.
I do have 600 miles on this new drive line. I ride 40 miles a day to work and back, and I can now do that without worries. Very impressed with this oddball drive line from SRAM, and just in time, too. Bent hangers and poor shifting with my original equipment had almost left me with buyers remorse for an electronic commuter.
I do recommend that an aftermarket forged derailleur hanger gets installed with this group set. Lots of torque is generated with 1500 watts of energy! Any added strength is a good idea.

Great Piece Of Equipment
0 of 1 found this helpful This controller takes care of my 3’X3’ micro-garden. I run gem lettuce in a diy tub, and a tomato in 5 gallon dwc under a 215 watt Blackdog LED. Remarkable control of temps and humidity, as well as co2, which I don’t use. Sure is nice to know those Ppm’s though!
I’ve had the unit for two weeks, and it has saved me a lot of time. Cleaned up my space nice, too. Less timers, less wires, and certainly more control over my micro-environment. I’m impressed, and I’d bet it would do as well in a much larger space....if only I had the room.
I know the job can be done without it, but I justify the cost against the time spent searching for temporary fixes for periodic temp and humidity control. I moved my reservoir chiller into and out of my grow space too many times to control temps on cooler days. With this controller, I can plug in an oil radiator, set the heat temp, and never wonder if my temps are keeping up on cool days. My humidifier doesn’t over-run anymore either, keeping my water refills to 50%, and my rh on point at all times.
I actually can’t believe I’ve grown without one. Next winter, my Meyer lemon tree will truly have its surrogate Florida climate. Local lemons are hard to find in MN.
