Simplifies my camera operation so I can concentrate on photos
High quality, rugged, quiet and reliable. Uses the same battery pack as my R 4 winder. Worked great right out of the box. Allows me to set my grip on the Leica R3 and not have to change it so I can concentrate on composition and focus.

Great video experience for little expense.
These cameras are old technology, I have many DV tapes of my vacations and family events I wanted to be able to view them and keep using the DV format. My original camera failed and because of its age, could no longer be repaired economically. This camera has a fold out color display for filming and playback. I can now see and edit my existing DV tapes. The picture quality is terrific, it also records stills to a media card. It pays to learn about about all the features as the list is extensive. They can be had at a reasonable price compared to new technologies. They are small lightweight and batteries and tapes are still available.

High quality, makes outstanding digital photos.
Leica of course, works as it should, hard to find. Easy to swap to film back. Second market power sources available. Easy to use. Instructions can be found on the net. Love the way the photos look. Plenty of control over shooting parameters. Better looking photos than my latest new DSLR. No complied menus to interfere with the use of the camera. Then it’s the way I feel using such a great quality product. Priceless
