Second To None.
2 of 2 found this helpful My first pair I bought in the 70s serial #641856,641857. I used until 2012. I found a 1/4 inch crack in top cymbal 12/15/2012.I already had a pair of Paiste 15inch Signature Sound Edge. I still bought another pair of Paiste 2002 15inch Sound Edge Hi Hats to replace the old ones and retired them.I found two more pair of Paiste Signature 15inch Sound Edge. I LOVE the sound of these hats.They cut threw the sound barrier to be heard and are crisp and clean.These Hi Hats are second to NONE.When I first heard these cymbals were at a drum clinic featuring JOE Morello Paiste & Rogers drums.I knew right then those cymbals was the sound I was looking for. I sold every Zildjian I had & started collecting my Paiste set up.Best decision I ever made.

Superior HI Hats. Paiste better wake up.
1 of 1 found this helpful These are crisp and clean,and have plenty of bite.My first pair or signature sound edge I bought in the 90s.I already had a pair 15inch 2002 Sound Edge from the 70s serial #641857,641856.I had to retire them due to a 1/4 inch crack on top cymbal.I replaced them with another pair of 2002 15inch sound edge.Paiste stopped making the 15inch signature sound edge,so I bought two more pair of Paiste Signature Sound Edge 15inch on ebay.Dont want to run out.I think these hi hats are superior to others and dont want to lose that sound
