4 of 4 found this helpful As long as you are a competent welder this quick attach adapter is going to make a nice improvement to your machine. I bought an old Kubota tractor with good loader system, but the "Pin on" bucket was destroyed beyond repair. I looked into finding a correct fit bucket, but was unable to get one with shipping for a reasonable price. I also own a skid steer with several attachments, and when I found that Kubota makes pin on to quick attach mounts, but they cost around $800 I decided that by cutting my old bucket pin on mounts off and welding them to this system was the way to go. I will say that you must read the "ATTENTION" sticker on the outside of the shipping box or you will be confused when you first pull them out. I noticed right away that the latch arms were on backwards, and also assumed it was to aid in packing, but it was not until I read the sticker that I knew for sure the factory installed them that way on purpose. The fasteners are not tightened much so taking the arms off and flipping them was easy. However you will find that having then entire latch system removed will make the welding easier, so basically when you take it out of the box remove the arms and latches, then mocked up the adapter with spacers (Titan sells a kit for a bit more that has the spacer blocks and cross brace, but I had plenty of channel steel on hand to use) then once you have it fitted to your attachment and your loader arm mounts, weld it up. Lastly, paint it after your done and re-install the latches and arms, just make sure to flip the arms when you put it back together. Keep in mind that the lateral support brace is needed unless you want your loader ends to flop a bit and possibly align crooked, but the fit must be exact so that the adapters and loader arms are at the correct width and are aligned for the attachment (I installed the adapters onto my loader after welding, then latched them to my bucket, then cut the cross brace to fit and tack welded it in position before removing the bucket to allow better access to complete the welds)

Fits my 2040 correctly, and is made from strong fiberglass, much better than the OEM plastic.
While it does require drilling and minor trimming to mate it to the hood, this replacement part is far superior in strength to the OEM plastic part. It feels light but strong, and is a slightly darker color than my hood, but about the same color as my repainted front sheet metal. I would not hazard to guess why other reviews are so negative, I suspect there are different sizes for the various models and while there are some other models that use the same part number, this size is correct for my German made 2040. I would not have ordered this without reading the one review that said it fit a 2040 perfectly, so thanks for that. I just got yesterday and installed it in about 30 minutes so I would rate this as a 4 out of five, taking a point off due to the less than "perfect" molding and contouring of edges. It is excellent for my needs which are to protect the front of my gas tank from the elements, but if you are restoring a show tractor you will likely be disappointed. If you are like me and the color and edges do not need to be factory perfect, I think you will find this feels far stronger, more capable of withstanding impacts, and perfectly acceptable to repair an old tractor

This is hard to put on correctly
I had the good luck of having one Black S7 edge and the misfortune of a light blue colored phone. The alignment and then placement of any shield is difficult, and the cleanliness of the phone face is also critical, that being said when I installed two of these on two different phones there was an obvious difference especially with the opaque back shield. The good news is if you have a black phone you can see through the shield pretty well and alignment is not too difficult, the bad news is that if you have a light colored phone it is nearly impossible to see through the back shield and basically you may end up trying to hit it exactly right several times before you get lucky. This is the third time I have installed shields on new smartphones for the wife and I and I am a technician by trade, I knew the curved edge on the phone would make the corners tricky and have experienced a crinkle on my bottom corners due to contact with the rubber shock case that I also use. The wife put her phone in her purse and apparently something hard was making steady contact with the front of her phone, which made the shield distort badly. It does appear that the shield protected the glass face of the phone, and fortunately Zagg has lifetime replacement warrantee so I am planning to return her front shield for a replacement when I get around to it.
