Incorrectly Labeled
0 of 1 found this helpful The seller incorrectly labeled the product as a "Marples" chisel. The laser engraving on the blade correctly identifies it as an "Irwin Marples" chisel. Marples chisels were made in Sheffield, England for many years out of fine Sheffield tool steel. When Irwin bought the label, the chisels are no longer made in Sheffield out of that quality steel. And indeed Irwin kept the same look, style and design that made Marples chisels a cut above the rest. But this is NOT a Marples made in Sheffield. It is an adequate chisel, but unlike the original Marples chisels, the steel quality is not up to par. If I had not paid for postage from the UK, I would have returned it for not being honestly represented.
