Can adapt the position of the pillow to suit your needs.
I bought this pillow hoping to reduce my daily pain from sleeping in a recliner chair with arthritis in my neck. All through the night my head would be flopping forward or from one side to the other, so I needed something to stabilize my head and neck. Using it with open part and the string in the front created too much pressure on the back of my neck due to my recliner chair having a very firm back. So I turned the pillow around to use it with the open part on the back of my neck and it worked like a charm. I am thrilled to have found this pillow and highly recommend it to those of you with arthritis in your neck. .

Upgrading My Review From Three Stars to Five
In my first review I wrote that two days after installation of this pad our 4x6 entry rug was still "creeping" about 1/3 inch or so per day and that we were going to try to reinforce the stickiness between the entry rug and the pad just along the edges with double stick carpet tape
We never got around to reinforcing it with double stick carpet tape. After walking on the entry rug another week or so we discovered it was no longer creeping at all. It stays in place perfectly on its own.
It would be nice if the pad came with installation instructions along with a notation that the rug may creep just slightly for the first week or so until it is walked on enough to secure the stickiness between the area rug and the padding. .
Neither the packaging nor the manufacturer's website contain installation instructions, but I found these instructions online for exactly this pad:.
For installing under large area rugs, follow these instructions: 1. Position the rug in the room exactly where you want it. 2. Mark the carpet beneath each corner of the rug with a piece of masking tape then roll the rug out of the way. 3. With the sticky side facing the carpet and the clear, protective backing facing up, line up two edge of the rug pad about 1/2 inch inside the marked area on the floor. If the pad is larger than the marked area, allow only two sides to extend beyond the markers. The excess will be trimmed later. 4. Carefully lay the rug pad down on the carpet and run your hands over the pad to smooth it in place. Push any excess material to one side of the area, making sure the pad remains within the markers on the floor. 5. Slowly peel the clear backing off the pad to reveal the adhesive facing up. 6. Line up 2 edges of the rug inside your marked area and unroll into position. Smooth the rug into place. 7. Trim or fold under any excess rug pad. Made in U.S.A.."} I hope this helps.
