Unacceptably noisy voltage
1 of 1 found this helpful The adapter appears to produce noisy voltage that is unacceptable when powering a laptop. With the adapter connected to my Asus X202E the cursor begins to jump around when trying to move it on screen with a finger. Files get opened at random, other commands get activated etc. All goes back to normal when this adapter gets disconnected. Things are also normal with the original Asus adapter. Yes, there are even worse adapters on the market, but this one is pretty bad.

Sturdy but poor grip
This mount is impressively built up out of alu. Unfortunately it fails in the critical area of the grip. No matter how much you tighten the grip screw the mount easily slides around round bike handlebars. In fact you may be at the verge of forcing the handlebars to cave in and the mount can be still turned around. The problem is in the plastic or rubber material in the grips that is ribbed and grips poorly and aluminum in that area being hollow and not pressing enough the plastic. I used a file to remove the ribs and this improved the grip and finally glued pieces of grippy rubber onto the grips and finally the mount holds.
An important characteristic of this mount, good or bad depending on the application, is that it sticks far out. This also means that anything you mount produces a definite torque on the mount aggravating the issue of sliding.
