Cheap and cheerful but good
This is an inexpensive extractor which does the job really well. It’s also quiet. Washable grease filter. In some ways it feels flimsy but the opening bit is meant to have a cupboard door on it and this soon stiffens it up.
This is a good for a rental property as I find tenants generally neglect appliances so, at this price, it’s possible throw it out and replace if a tenant has not bothered cleaning it or has mistreated it.

Great solution that needed a tweak
I bought this for a generic 2-stroke hedge clippers which wouldn’t run properly. Whilst the carb fitted, I had to remove the adjustable throttle cable holder assembly and move it through 180 degrees, otherwise the fuel lines and cable wouldn’t line up. It’s only two screws but I suspect this will definitely apply to lots of other petrol tools which this carb will physically fit.
Once fitted it works perfectly!

An excellent switch
1 of 1 found this helpful This is basically an on/off latch switch, it is definitely very good quality with a precise,’positive action. The case is robust and easily up to the job of housing the switch and supporting it. I’m put this on a 72 year old sawbench. Well worth buying. Just three wires each side ...... pair up positive, negative and earth across the switch (doesn’t matter which terminals so long as they pair up). Easy! The cover over the switch means sawdust won’t get in like on my old one!
