If you're going to charge, level 2 is the only way.
1 of 1 found this helpful Very happy with the performance and the quickness that my 2017 Chevy Volt now charges with. It's perfect that I can get a full charge during the midnight to 6 am rate. And can also top off during the cheaper parts of the day when I need it. It was horribly slow using the charger that came with the car. I needed it to route the cable through my laundry room wall into my garage and was very happy to see that I could open the enclosure and unscrew the power terminals from the circuit board, run the cable through the wall, and reconnect. I'm certainly not recommending it but for anybody who has the technical ability it's just four screws on the circuit board. So far so good. happy with the quality of the product and especially the price point which was lower than I had anticipated I would have to go for a level 2 charger.

Tastes very generic which isn't a surprise
Using it in my SodaStream mix. I hoped it might be a better value, but in the end it requires three to five times more syrup per serving. Even then it just tastes like a generic diet cola with a hint of root beer. Makes it 18 cents per serving versus 25 with SodaStream but doesn't taste as good.
