Too small?

The charger itself matches the one my dog destroyed however, the connected cord that goes into my laptop doesn't fit properly. It's as of the head of the charger is smaller than it is intended to be so it slips out really easily and I have to monitor it make sure it's actually charging. It does charge when pushed all the way in, so I'm not too upset.
