Newer configuration bulb may need to be merged with your older bulb.
B&S changed bulb design. I have older one that is held in place with a threaded nut that goes around the hosebarb stem (round hole). This one is a snap in place (square hole). The bulbs are the same size, so luckily I was replacing the tubing and bulb, and I could reuse the hosebarb base from my old one and put the new bulb cover on it and the new tubing. The old tubing has a vent fitting at the midpoint, so you need to reuse that, too. Not sure why one has to buy two. There is only one on the snowblower. Now I have to store the other one for a decade or so and remember where I stored it when this new bulb or tubing develop a hole.
