Carbon fiber?
Yeah, it seems to be real carbon fiber! It looks great, is made quite well and should last for years. What more could a boy want?

When you need a small glide. . .
Geez, all the Big Box stores have is gigantic glides twice the size of these. What are they for, sideboards of something? I needed small glides for chairs and tables with turned legs, and these fit the bill completely. At a great price, too! Easy to install, we'll see how many years they hold up. Bet they outlive me!
