Replacement for Mach 3
Another person reviewed this speaker as a replacement for the woofer in the Radio Shack Optimus Mach 3. I had a slightly different experience with mine but it went well. The diameter of the speaker is slightly larger than the Mach 3's woofer hole and would not fit. I opened the hole in the cabinet with a belt sander. The screw hole pattern did not line up but it is a simple matter to drill new holes. I used the belt sander again to sand the fiber retaining ring on the speakers at a 45 degree angle. After that the plastic trim ring would fit, though with a little force. After installation I honestly think the speakers sound better. Although I used adhesive caulk on the inside of the cabinet to seal it. That probably helped. Good speaker- seems efficient and has good range. I am picky about the sound of woofers and these seem to go low into the deep bass range like they should.

Can't beat the price for all this stuff - fixed me right up!
When my Poulan hedge trimmer started missing and wouldn't idle, I thought either the crankshaft seal or carburetor. I destroyed the original carb trying to clean it, so started shopping and found this kit. It was so inexpensive I thought why not try it? Really pleased I did, runs as good as new and everything bolted up perfect! A little effort was required to pull the new yellow fuel line through the fuel tank. For the price there is no way this can be beat, heck it even came with an air filter element and a spark plug!
