Good News Bad News
Beautifully CNC machined case, very bright, push-pull focus. This one is more convenient than most with side mounted switch and ability to charge without removing the battery. There are lots of similar models available, all with same size battery and chip. Now for the bad news, no way it's even remotely close to 5000 lumens. I checked on the Cree site, chip is good for 100 lumens per watt. Measured current draw is 300 milliamps, works out to about 1.2 watts, equal to 120 lumens. I can understand the apparent specification creep it takes to sell the product, just don't believe it. It's plenty bright enough, similar to a 2 cell Maglite. The lithium batteries are also guilty of spec creep, some claiming unbelievable capacity. Truth is, most will have about the same life in a low drain device like this flashlight. The 3000 mah rating on the batteries that come with this model are only a little bit overrated, battery life should be about 8 hrs, a lot more if use a dimmer setting. It's a good buy, go for it.

No way you can beat this one.
2 of 2 found this helpful I've been wearing this exact model Casio for years. The main reason is, I work in electronics and the entire watch is non conductive. That means I can get my hand into circuit boards without shorting anything out and blowing it all to hell. Even the band and latch is rubber or plastic. Only the non exposed back is stainless steel. Only problem I have is the short life of the rubber band, usually only a year and it falls off, not a problem as I always have a new watch on hand. WalMart sometimes stocks this model but not always, so I usually order a new one as soon as the band goes bad. I've never had to replace a battery, always outlasts the watch. It's more accurate than a Rolex, only have to set it twice a year for Daylight Savings Time. If had to make a choice between this and a free Rolex, I would choose this Casio.

No worries
Juat got them installed today, worked perfectly and looked like a new truck. Easy to replace with only a screwdriver.
