Leupold VX-R 4-12x40mm CDS (30mm) Rifle Scope New

Overall good scope for its price range.

Scope is clear, firedot is very nice, and the tracking is good. I'm not a big fan of CDS turrets but the stock turret on the CDS-capable scope is pretty crisp, easy to use, and easy to see. Now for the bad... Eye relief is horrible. So much so that my hold/cheek-weld feels awkward. I have the scope as far back as possible and it's still a problem. Mine is mounted on a Rem 700 SA so this may not be a problem on an AR type gun. Aside from the short eye relief, for a scope in this price range, it's pretty solid.
