Sometimes You Have to Buy the Older Model
2 of 2 found this helpful I went looking in photo shops and general stores in my town for a Canon Camera comparable to the PowerShot A95 5.0 megapixel because I know several people who own one and they have great portfolios of pictures. I went everywhere and no one had a comparable camera. Cameras that took pictures at 5.0 megapixels did not have the swivel viewfinder. The next replacement camera for the A95 has a swivel viewfinder, but it would cost me twice as much because it was a 7.0 megapixel model. How frustrating!!! I did not need more megapixels. I was satisfied with the results others were getting with their 5.0 megapixel Canon A95 and I liked its price. That is when I realized I wanted a Canon A95, so I went on eBay and got one. I am SO happy. I have taken dozens of pictures in all kinds of situations and am a happy amateur photographer. The only thing I dislike about my Canon is the bit of delay I experience sometimes with indoor shooting. I have missed a good shot or two because it takes a second or two for the flash and shutter to respond after the button is pushed for a picture to be taken. Overall, however, it is a super little camera that does all I need it to do with excellence. I have the pictures to prove it!

repair
I used this glass eye to repair an antique stuffed toy I had as a child. I painted the back to match the remaining eye and I had a perfect match. DO NOT USE THIS ON A TOY A CHILD WILL PLAY WITH. I glued the eye to the toy. It could easily be picked off of my toy by a child and swallowed. I doubt that it would injure the child but why take a chance?
