If you don't have a lot of space, then this receiver is what you need. It has a really small footprint and the other feature that I like is that it has an internal antennae. No more making a hole in the body for an antennae wire. Also, this gives you more flexibility of the positioning without having to worry about how to route the antennae.
It paired up quickly and will work with many of the transmitters that Futaba offers. So if you upgrade your transmitter, you do not have to upgrade the receiver as well, unless you want to. With four channels, you have plenty of room to plug in other accessories such as a transponder and a fan or lights depending on your setup.
Overall, this is a great receiver in a small package. This has been my go to receiver in all my vehicles.
These are the standard ball connectors for Tamiya RC cars. They are pretty durable and I'm a newbie to RC racing, so I crash a lot. They have taken some pretty hard hits before they have bent or broken. That being said, they will break overtime. Good to have a few of these in your kit box just in case.
