not what I expected

Disappointment
3 of 3 found this helpful Out of the box hard to program. Plenty of opportunity to test it. Did not go off with four episodes of state troopers in the median of the expressway, twice with sheriff deputies in the median. I did get a radar signal of 1 when a state trooper was following directly behind me for about 2 miles. I have had about two dozen other police encounters and it did not go off at all. The display is also extremely difficult to read. Battery life is about six hours. When tested against the radar detector it was supposed to replace Side by side, my 10-year-old Uniden beat it hands down for reliability. If your license or insurance premium depends on this unit, either walk to the DMV or work overtime to pay the additional premium!
