The Product is a Great Value
3 of 3 found this helpful Well I got the battery installed 15-days ago (1/15/20) and it is working as expected. The installation was a major pain. You need high powered lenses to see and control the tiny little screws. If I have any problems with the battery I'll be sure and update, but so far it's working great!
One thing that could be improved is the screw drivers need to be magnetized right at the very tip. They are magnetized, but not at the very tip, and it's very hard to hold those screws in place when putting them back in. I lost three of them! I had to get high powered lenses to find them all.
Also the suction cup was absolutely worthless. (If the suction cup would have worked I would have given 5-stars.) I went to the dollar tree and got a set of suction cups for a $1, but they didn't work either. You need a really powerful suction cup that's tiny. (I don't think they make them with enough suction to pry the screen off.) In the end I had to pry the screen off using the flat blade screw drive, and I think I just got lucky with my placement of the tool because I was able to pry off the screen eventually without damaging the glass. (Be patient when doing this install. Go slow and try different things. If your screen is cracked place a piece of packing tape over it so it doesn't get worse. Get 4-5 powered lenses at least, and a magnifying glass, so If you lose screws you can find them again.)
