Item is better than the one that comes with Echo products
This trimmer head is much easier to use than the original Echo head and it is very durable but it and the instructions as to how to use it waste string! Because the head requires that you weave the string through the head and back through to the next string port, you have about 8 inches of string to discard on every refill for each string! That seems like a lot of waste to me. It seems like a simple loop on the edge would have worked and saved much more string.

Seems to be good quality. Time will tell. Saved hundreds and the machine is working well.
