Metroid Prime Remastered - Nintendo Switch

Still different, still great.

A remaster that is simultaneously extremely faithful to the original and sensitively tailored to modern tastes. If you played the original Gamecube version back in the day, this looks how you remember it - but in reality it's far superior. There are various control settings, ranging from a standard modern FPS setup, to one that mimics the original's idiosyncratic controls. A couple of decades on from its original release, it's surprising how well Metroid Prime holds up, and how unlike any other first person shooter it still is.
