Great functional design.
Living in Florida where there is a lot of sand that can be tracked into the car on one's shoes, this deep design is very beneficial. One can remove the mats without having sand drop out onto the vehicles original carpet as you are removing the mats from the vehicle. For people in snow and wet climates the deep profile will minimize potential of water moistening carpet, resulting in potential corrosion.

Class Act Quality
I am very impressed with the quality of the frame. I'm not one for cheap imitations, so with this being the real deal, I'd definitely recommend. I have a silver car and so the frame doesn't show up as obvious as it would on a black or dark color car, but to me, it is the texture and quality that are selling points.
