Very cheap

This item is plastic. If you use it when the tow vehicle is parked, it is a cheap and easy way to cover the hitch. I don't think this would last more than 2000 miles on the road however.

easy to install, the screws were philips/flat combo drive. obviously not heavy duty, but if used for an install they are great. don't use for your travelling or stage gear!

Allen & Heath xone:2D, best integrated controller/interface combo ever

While the form factor seems confusing at first, when used with a 1D and placed on either side of the main mixer, it makes perfect sense! I only have the 2D, side by side with my A&H xone:22 mixer. A perfect way to add 4-channel DVS/Digital DJ capability to my standard 2-channel analog turntable setup. The 2D can be set up to control 2 decks using the 'shift' feature; I set mine up to control 2 decks without shifting, using the outer sliders for pitch and the encoders at the top for jog...works perfectly, I can beatmatch just as smoothly this way as when I'm on the actual turntables. This way I set up the big jog wheel as a file browser scroll/select control instead. The jog has a 4-way button system so I can load each of 4 decks by clicking up/down/left/right with the jog wheel. Not to mention that the soundcard interface is extremely powerful!! 8 analog outputs (4 stereo channels) of independent output; 6 analog inputs give 2 channels of input for DVS plus one extra...or connect DVS to all 4 decks in software by using the coaxial output on your CDJ, the xone:2D has 2 channels in/out via optical OR coaxial S/PDIF connectors! Not only that, but the xone:2D also has a headphone amp, and can cue the analog outputs by channel; 4 selector switches to cue 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, or 7-8 in combination or separately...super loud output as well. The versatility of this unit allows it to add on to an existing analog setup, or is fully capable of being used by itself with a laptop for a very portable, full-featured DJ performance.
