Flaring tool inappropriate
The body of the tool contains circular metal grooves to hold the tube in place while flaring. These groove dig into the soft aluminum, copper or brass. The inside surface should be smooth. Simply can't use.

Crankshaft Bolt
fits like it is suppose too!!! Just what can you say about a bolt other than it fits.
