2001 Grand Prix GT,sporty,fun,comfortable,and reliable

My 2001 Grand Prix GT is the third Grand Prix I have owned.All of them have been a true enjoyment to own.My current one I have owned for almost four years,and racked up about 53,000 miles since I purchased it used.It is an excellent car for long trips providing comfort along with performance and surprising fuel economy.I am a very large man(6'2,260lbs.),and still find to have plenty of room.The 3800 series engine has been highly acclaimed,with reason.I average around 28 miles per gallon on the highway,which is vey respectable for a sporty mid size vehicle.It also provides plenty of power to get past the slower moving vehicles on the road.I have heard it referred to as bullet proof.The only problem I have had,was the intake manifold gasket,which is a common problem for G.M. vehicles unfortunately.Other than that,just the usual maintenance and tires,brakes,etc.I currently have 96000 miles on mine,and plan to keep it until it hits 200,000,which I know it will with no major problems.The body remains completely rust free,even after being exposed to the salty WI winter roads for a number of years.I definately would recommend this car to any one who is thinking about purchasing one.You will not be disappointed!
