This cheap aftermarket carburetor worked excellent for my 2000 Honda XR100
I have always been reluctant to purchase one if these cheap after market Chinese carburetors! It was only $18 shipped so I figuered I might as well give it a try. After all it was cheaper then a rebuild kit as well as the fact that my 18yr old carb might have been past the point of rebuilding. I used the top cap from my original carb because the rubber throttle cable grommet was slightly different. I also could’ve just swapped the rubber grommet to the new carbs top Cab but I was being lazy and took the easiest route. The carb installed very easily just the same as the factory one I had removed. The bike started on the first kick with the new carb and the only thing I had to do was adjust the idle screw slightly. I am extremely happy with my $18 carb and would definitely go this route again... especially considing the $150+ cost of a new factory one. This carb is not much more expensive then a can of carburetor cleaner... a remarkably good value. It was installed on a 2000 Honda XR100r Dirtbike. I live at sea level and the carb did not require any jetting changes, Runs perfectly at all rpm’s
