For 2001 KTM 300 EXC

The item fit correctly on the side panels but needed trimming to fit the front plate because it has a rectangular headlight. Not a big deal though especially for the price. I used a head gun to apply and this helped with getting it to fit the contours of the plastic.

Slight notification needed

Used on 2001 KTM 300EXC. Required groove on top of shifter for tip to slide into. A Dremel tool worked for this. Bolt hole almost exactly the same. Works well

MOTION PRO Replacement Throttle Tube (01-0079)

Inexpensive and well made

This is my second time using this throttle tube. I put one on my son's bike too. It seems to be made of a plastic with a higher amount of fiber reinforcement than most stock tubes hence it is more ridgid and harder to crush. Didn't want to get metal because if it gets dented or bent it won't slide on the bars, could get stuck, not safe. Plus they are too expesive. Plus the end pops right out for handguards.
