Measure before buying!
Make sure to measure the battery holder you want to replace. The original battery holder in my Garrett GTAX500 measures 4 3/16" from plastic end to plastic end. These measure 4 5/16" from plastic end to plastic end with metal connectors extending further. These will not fit into my Garrett GTAX500 so are useless to me. Too inexpensive to be worth returning, so I'll keep them. I'm thinking I may saw them in half, trim a bit of plastic, epoxy the halves together to reduce the size by 1/4". The plastic on these is thinner than the original Garrett battery holders, but the originals were pretty shoddy, too.

It works!
3 of 4 found this helpful 97y/o relative on blood thinners cut her chin at the assisted living place. Staff spent 2 hours to unsuccessfully stop the bleeding. Stopped at Walgreens on the way to supervise the situation - staff wanted to take her to the ER - and found this product for sale. Decided to try to give it a whirl. Put the powder on the cut, applied pressure, and bleeding was 100% stopped in 30 seconds. All of us were amazed. So...I bought several of these to put in the car first aid kit, medicine cabinet, and one left at the assisted living place in case another cut happens.

Canon Powershot S Series Digital Camera
I really like this series of digital cameras and have been buying used ones to replace old ones that break. Easy to use, lots of nice features, relatively compact, pictures come out looking great. The big drawback is it seems all of these cameras eventually break as the "door" that slides over the retractable lens and turns the camera off or on first becomes "sticky" and soon thereafter becomes stuck completely. You break the camera when you try to force the stuck door open or closed. A definite design flaw. My most recent e-Bay purchase of an S-45 was a very nice camera showing very few signs of use. Unfortunately, the door is already becoming "sticky", so I know the camera doesn't have a whole lot of life left in it despite the very nice cosmetic appearance.
