Van Richten guides are an excellent way to add color to your Ravenloft Campaign.
This is the perfect companion to the Ravenloft Campaign, no matter which Edition you are using--2nd, 3.5, 4, or 5e. The information is shared in a way to be mostly version neutral as it details the behaviours of the beasts in RL.

A book of maps following the Avatar Trilogy.
This Atlas follows the Time of Troubles described in the Forgotten Realms Avatar Trilogy. Karyn Wynn Fonstad's ability to capture the lore of AD&D, and then create a cartographical masterpiece are unmatched, in my opinion, in the fantasy genre. Anyone a fan of maps, fantasy, and the Forgotten Realms should consider this tome.
