Saved me from a new purchase
1 of 1 found this helpful I somehow developed peeling paint and rust spots/rings on the floor of my microwave, which otherwise still worked quite well. Did some thorough research on how to refresh the surfaces and searched for the proper type and color paint. Sadly, the pure white was not available but I got the pearl white figuring it should do the job. The color was way off so I wound up spraying the entire interior for continuity--and considering the small size of the can, I was able to cover the entire inside with at least three coats and have 1/4 to 1/3 of a can left. You really need great ventilation using this product because the vapor is noxious; however, the product covers well. I think the floor of my microwave was too far gone for the surface to be smooth again, but you definitely have to look closely to see where the problem areas were. In fact, the only way you can tell the interior has been painted is by the small areas near the metal plate I taped up for protection. But overall, I am very happy with my purchase and how it is holding up.
