Needs To be Painted - not great quality wood.
1 of 1 found this helpful As many people said in the reviews I can confirm this needs painting before it goes together.
I noticed one of the steamed curved areas has split a little when it was shaped.
The wood was painted before it was cut so there are lots of raw ends that you cannot get to to seal.
There are not enough stapes on the mesh, so grab a staple gun and add some more.
They have also used as little a possible, so there are areas that I expect not to withstand a full on assault from a fox even with extra staples.
The coop is really lightwieght and the wood not great quality or finish.
I ruined a paint brush due to the wood being so rough.
Many of the screws have been over tightened and there are small split around them.
I didnt want to go through the rigmarole of having to send the whole thing back to be replaced so I have just fixed what I can on it.
I have not yet put it togther, so I hope there are no further issues when I do.
I suspect a leak or two will appear so have grabbed some toxin free silcone and some shed felt just in case.
Very pretty but low quality, not entirely convinced it will be fox proof once up and inhabited.

Brambles have no fear for my hands are beneath here....
It's didn't take long before the brambles pierced the hide.
Small holes by day 3
Really bad fit also, baggy and loose matter falls in to glove
Limited my dexterity

Finally a Sprayer that works
This is the first sprayer of any kind that actually works and stays working :)
Most of these break within a month or two.
Successfully owned this for over 6mths now and still going :)
