Broadway Rearview Mirror 400mm Flat (Type-A) BW-850

Great mirror!

I started looking for just a really large mirror to put into my vintage motorhome I am restoring, when after lots of searching I came to this. I wanted a mirror that I could mount, which originally meant all clip-on type mirrors were out. They seemed "too cheap" to me. After realizing the mirror I hoped to find was probably a really expensive custom deal, that even then finding the right person was going to be hard. I went and checked other reviews like I always do, and lo and behold people were talking about Broadway mirrors. So I checked them out, and I liked what I saw. Enough so I took a risk on trying it. Turns out it paid off. I love how clear everything is, it's a totally different world back there now. Even at night, I thought I would have to take it off to have the dimming feature of my stock mirror. The first night I drove with it I didn't even notice. Yeah headlights are still brighter, but the glare reduction works near flawlessly to still give you a mostly useable view. Plus being so huge, I have no rear blind spots, it helps to even fill in my side view a little. The only downside this mirror, and others of this size is that they are more prone to vibrations and movement. By adding the extra weight to the front of your mirror, it causes the vibrations to move it up and down more. Plus with a subwoofer enhanced sound system, it vibrates it more too. Still kind of used to the same thing with the stock mirror. Also the spring loaded clip on pieces are strong. Not only in feel, but holy crap they have a really strong spring. I had a few issues getting it on for the first time because of that. All in all, this was an unexpected upgrade. It hasn't made it to the motorhome, I decided to try it out in my truck, and now it is staying. I love it that much. If you are looking for a flat mirror size increase, find a Broadway that fits what you want, you'll like it.
