Great Scope For The Money

I have been using this scope now for about a month and also bought the AD RECON 30 quick mount from American Defense. I have them mounted on my Savage Recon 5.56/223 and it is a perfect choice for it with the illuminated reticle. The first time I went to the range with the rifle and new scope, it shot low left at 25 yards. Zeroing the scope was a breeze, and it's now zeroed out to 100 yards. The glass is extremely clear, and the illumination on the reticle is a great help in shaded areas. I really liked the fact that the reticle expands when the zoom is used on a longer range target. There is no guessing where the shooter lines up on the target. I haven't gotten a chance yet to take it out over 150 yards but I'm sure it will perform as well as it does now. I've used Bushnell scopes in the past and knowing them and their quality is what brought me back to purchase this one. For the money and for a 5.56/223 build, this scope is a great buy and I don't think that anyone will be disappointed in buying one.

American Defense Quick Release 30mm Scope Mount - 1.47" Center AD-RECON-30

Great Quick Release Mount!

I purchased this mount after reading reviews and spending time searching for a good quick release mount. I have it on my Savage Recon using a Bushnell 1-4 scope. I went to the range and zeroed the scope and wanted to make sure that the mount would hold up to the reviews I read. I pulled the scope off the rifle and when I remounted everything which only took less than a minute, the first round down range was dead on target. The mount did exactly what I all the reviews said it would, it held zero. There are a lot of quick disconnects for less money but you get what you pay for. This is a well constructed mount, and once it's adjusted to the rail, you won't have to touch it other than to take it off and put it on again. I've used it off the bench, and off the sling with it bouncing around while I was walking and running and it never budged. I will definitely buy another for my next rifle build.
