Same planets over and over again, there is so much they could have done, and just did not bother.
The most unique planet I saw, was a planet with oceans of blood... that was it, the only difference in well over 40 planets, all they did was change the color of the ocean to red and call it blood.
If you are doing the atlas stone quest, just sell the stones and buy a ship, what you get at the end is pretty much nothing. It just creates a new star that you will never see, and claims the next player will spawn there... so you pretty much give all the work and time to get the stones to someone else that will use it for a bout 10 minutes.
