Five-star happy
It was time for me to upgrade my vise to a true rotary vise, as well as a vise that allowed me to tie on a variety of hooks sizes, from 18's (I don't tie anything smaller than an 18 -- yet) to 4/0's. After spending a little time researching the best vise for my needs and my wallet, I decided on the Mongoose. What a fantastic product and a great deal! The vise holds large and small hooks exceedingly well. It spins smoothly and easily adjusts to spin freely, under slight tension, or not at all. The bonus to this vise is that it comes loaded with extras for which you pay extra with other vises. It comes with both a pedestal and a C-clamp, a hard plastic case, bobbin cradle, Griffen bobbin, threader, and hackle gauge -- all for the same price as other comparable vises that include the vise and your choice of stand. I'm five-star happy with this purchase.
