The MS290 can handle it all with percision. A great saw for anyone.
2 of 2 found this helpful The Stihl MS290 is a great intermediate work saw. From fire wood to pruning, it is well balanced and easy to handle yet has good power for a saw of its class. The fast chain speed makes limbing easy as well as handles felling of small timber a snap. I also own a Stihl MS150 for small jobs and an 056av super for the big trees. Ive been using the my 056av for better than 20 years...what can I say, its a Stihl! You can break 'em but you can't kill 'em. Best saws on the market ! Ive used most all brands of saws in my twenty+ years in the timber industry...I always go back to Stihl. Power, value and reliability...need I say more?

Great product! Fixed all issues.
This instrument cluster fixed the issues with my 2001 Dakota which had intermittent issues for several years. It was plug and play and required no “flash” or additional programming beyond the r&r of the unit itself. Total working time for replacement was 1 hour in my shop. Everything in the truck works now as it did before the dash troubles started several years ago.
