There's no better way to store and display your treasured guitar.
I purchased one of these a few years ago for a battered, but still good looking classic guitar. Living in a modest flat it solved the storage problem AND provided a great wall display. On moving to an even smaller home the mount and guitar came with us to decorate the stairs. It looked lonely on its own though and I bought a newer acoustic guitar to keep it company, and sought another of these mounts. It arrived fairly quickly from the USA and now a matching pair with guitars adorn the walls by the stairs. They look terrific.
As far as I can tell the design is unique. Because of high delivery costs I worked the internet really hard to find something like it, without any luck. In the end I decided the quality and design was so good that it was worth paying lots for USPS delivery to Scotland. So, unless you have a special music room, I suggest you consider one of these classy wooden ones. It will blend better and look great in your living areas.

If you NEED a new nut, this is the one to get.
Everything I've read about acoustic guitar nuts indicates that this TUSQ from Canada is the best. For this reason I bought one to replace a worn/damaged nut on a Martin.
For a little lump of "plastic" material that needs sanding down I think it is expensive. I expect most of the cost comes from packaging, exporting and profit.
I can't say I enjoyed fitting the nut. It was a bit scary to start meddling with a treasured guitar. However the job was pretty strainght forward, following instructions carefully. Removal of the old nut was actually the easiest part. When finished I DID enjoy the result. I can't say I noticed any change to the sound, but I was happy that I now had the best nut around.

For those who don't already know.......
.......this is one of the best value lenses you can buy......if not THE best.
eBay has asked me to do a review but I'm not sure there's much point. Any Nikon owner who can see beyond all the hype that surrounds photography these days already knows this lens is superb. As it is probably they who are looking for an extra good buy on eBay they won't need a review.
In the unlikely event that you have no idea about this lens here's a quick review. It has been made with the same glass configuration for many years now. Nikon applied the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" maxim and gave joy to many. It is very well put together, sharp and capable of a great bokeh. On a full frame Nikon the focal length gives the nearest to a normal eye view you can get, which makes it a very versatile lens. On a DX Nikon it will behave like a 75mm lens....which, with that great bokeh, makes it an ideal portait lens.
Now that Nikon have introduced a new 50mm lens the price of this older version is falling...making it an even better buy than it always was.
The only downside for the idle is that it won't autofocus on some less expensive Nikons. I reckon having to focus manually is a small price to pay for owning one of the best lenses around. It works fully auto on Nikon bodies with a built in focus motor.
