Replacing my laptop

I have been contemplating moving to a surface to replace my laptop. I am an engineer and use my laptop for simple CAD drawing, large spreadsheets, etc. I got the surface, surface keyboard, and HDMI adapter. I used this with my large monitor for a week then added a docking station and full size keyboard/mouse. The surface runs all my programs and the size is great. I am working in my office on a full size computer then when I go to a meeting or traveling it is a great size and the battery will lasts for many hours of meetings. I have tried the note application with the pen. I am a still trying to get the hang of using that but works well. Overall a great laptop replacement.

The best bike I have ever owned

If you want a bike to ride all day and want more the next this is it. I have put several 900+ miles days and once I got an airhawk cushion for the seat it was a smooth day. The brakes are great. The front tires seem to wear funny and you have to replace them before the tread is actually worn very little. BMW service is expensive $500-$1500 each time (6K, 12K, and annual + repairs) I have had service. I bought my bike with 30k miles and it now has over 60K 18 months later. I do have to say the service is probably why I have ridden this many miles and never had mechanical trouble. A little rattling in the rear brake disc and intermittent neutral switch but nothing to stop the ride. The power center stand in newer models is definitely a plus. You really have to push to get it up. Later models also have MP3 input which would be great instead of the CD changer. You pick up alot of room without the changer. Change the light bulbs to PIAA for better night visibility and put on extra moto lights if you plan on significant night driving. The mirrors have blind spots right next to you so you may want to consider stick on 2.5" convex to get a good look. Buy one of these and you will want to put the car keys away for awhile.
